Single wiper blade under the tarp and a rising belt line to rear would indicate, as others have guessed, a Lotus, possibly S2 Esprit. What odds are you offering? |

I'm still not convinced....................to add fuel to the fire, I've just asked my brother about it again and sent some pics of different cars to jog his memory. All he said was that he seems to recall his neighbour saying it was an MG F. Doesn't look like it to me. |

How about an early Lotus Eclat, they had similar 4 spoke, 4 stud alloys, and a similar nose, also one wiper.
