United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

Thanks Sunny and Jimbowats

Going back to the transfer box fluid, the BOT118/95 is fully synthetic whereas the universal fluid I found is only semi synthetic.

Castrol do another gear oil called SYNTRAX 75W/90 GL 5 long life, fully synthetic and I’m sure will be ok for the transfer box.
If anyone else has used this I’d welcome any feedback.

transfer box fluid

Haynes manual recomends Bot 118
which is a 75 90 gear oil

although I had one recomendation that it was an automatic transimission fluid

so a bit confused
