Glow Plug Warning Light

Hi all, I previously owned a 2010 facelift that showed a glow plug indicator
light and sometimes a delayed start message.
I've recently come back to the fold and bought an 07 SE auto which hasn't once displayed a warning light this winter or a message but starts fine with little cranking.

Having done a search it seems some 07's show a light and others do not!
Does anyone know for sure if I should have a warning light or if it has missed a software update?

If its any help, my 2014 SD4 showed a glowplug symbol and a delayed starting message for about 3 seconds yesterday. It was -2 centigrade.
Its done it twice that I know of this winter but its been a very mild winter so far. Jules

Thanks both.
Was -2 here the other morning and no light and -1 this morning again no light. Didn't really take much notice yesterday and wasn't sure but was looking for it this morning and definitely didn't come on.

As long as she keeps starting I'm not too bothered just intrigued. My old newer one took a few seconds before attempting to start in the cold so must have had a modified start process compared to this original

Thanks Richard, is your light in the lower left window or up to the centre right?
