The large pipe with the jubilee clip is the air inlet pipe and the clipped joint is downstream of the engine breather. That feeds oil in to the air pipe. So the oil is probably from the joint secured by the jubilee clip. |

The PCV system put vents into the air inlet duct from 3 below.

I had the AA out at home (as I've got the cover and might as well use it) and didn't want to drive it in case it was a split hose and I caused further damage to it.
