Thanks Largered, found the first one, but not the other two, never sure whether to trust some comments on sights as there are so many out there that think screwdrivers are for scratching ones rear end, I am looking at JGS4x4 offering, would be nice if some of the recognised after market manufacturers supplied them. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Having read this thread I think that I have jinxed or at least upset my FL2 - the drivers lock has decided that it does not want to unlock with the rest of the car when the central locking is triggered (it will unlock by using the inside door handle) , also when I drive away all the other doors are automatically locking but not the drivers.

I decided to have a look inside the actuator to see if there was any fix, there are two Scalextric car motors inside, one for locking and one for unlocking mounted on a film strip circuit and hot glue melted to the casing, the unlock motor only pulsed but rotating the armature caused it to rotate the required amount, however after a couple of goes it reverted back to pulsing, shoved it all back together and ordered a new one. May have a look at it when the new one arrives just to see what the actual failure is, you can buy the motors but unless you have infinite patience and can leave .the car unlocked for a couple of days or drive it about without the electrics don't bother, thirty quid is worth a shot my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
