You could just give up on the JLR type HB3 mod and fit a HID kit

They are and technically they should but they won’t.........well all of mine on numerous vehicles with projector lamps have NEVER even had a comment upon aftermarket HiDs, just make sure they are aimed correctly. Edit......and not stupidly bright like the 55 watt variety (completely not needed) and the correct colour temperature, not some super high white blue light, ridiculous.
