I used to work near Durbanville in the early eighties - a place called Bellville. They flew a load of us Brits out there to work for them. I worked in Bellville for a VW/Audi/Porsche dealers called Motors WP. My mates worked in the Parow and Cape Town branches. They even put us up in a company flat. I don’t suppose they’re still around these days? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Weird. After my post I once again googled the name of a friend I had out there that I lost touch with. Again no luck and on a whim I googled the name of their child and got a hit - someone with the same name had a company specialising in building outdoor barbecue's. I emailed him last night asking if he had parents with the same name as our friends and this morning I’ve heard back - he has so we're hoping to hear from them soon! So, thanks to this forum I should be back in touch with someone I last saw in 1982. Small world! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
