Commuter traffic problems.

My son sent this picture this morning from Kenya saying "Just what you need, a traffic hold up when you are late for work"

My dad had a mate who on one dark and rainy night while driving down a country lane in an Austin 7 hit a cow. The cow landed on the roof with its legs each side of the car, blocking the doors from opening with the driver stuck inside.

Fortunately the 7 had an opening windscreen, so the driver climbed out over the bonnet and made his way in the rain to the nearest building - at 1am. On the way in the dark, he fell into a silage and rain filled hole, not a pretty sight.

Shortly after, the owner of the farm was woken by his doorbell, came and opened it to be greeted by a rain soaked bloke covered head to toe in cow dung babbling on about a cow stuck on his car roof and wondering if the homeowner could check if it was his and help to get it down.

He went and checked his meds.

No doubt you are aware that silage is what you feed cows on and is not at all like cow dung. Having said that, I wouldn't want to roll in wet silage either. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

That would make an entertaining insurance claim form:
"How was the damage to your vehicle caused?"
"It was Censored ed by an elephant!" Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
