I worked for a company in 1998 whoes share price was 60p. after only 9 months it rose to £28.80

catching !!!

I retired at 48, i'm now 64 ....... and still enjoying my (early) retirement.

Right place, right time and very very lucky.

Ah! Now I wonder, just wonder if you and I had the same fortune in the same year......my Share goldmine was with the mobile phone company Orange (Hutchinson Telecom)....bought in '97 at £1.26.....following further acquisitions by Mannesman and Vodafone, deemed anti-competitive, I sold at £28.80 in the Autumn of 1999.

Am I right? If so, I'm glad that others made a pile just like I did!
