My drivers side wiper is flying off the screen near the door. There is a lot of play - you can move the wipers 6-7 inches in the park position. After removing the plasric cover its clear the linkage near the motor is very worn, I think the plastic/rubber must have come off. I wondered if anyone has fixed this without replacing the linkage assembly. I see Halfords do a repair clip, but not sure if it would work. Any one had this problem and successfully fixed it
