I've just put a set of CrossClimates on my FL2, £495 fully fitted for 4 x 235/55 R19s (Kwik Fit Black Friday deal). They seem to have excellent reviews, obviously too early for me to judge wear etc but in terms of wet and dry grip and overall handling, they are a marked improvement over the Goodyear Wranglers and Conti Crosscontacts I have had previously.

Had the Cross Climates on my Subaru Forester for some years without any problem ( save for two bloody big nails ) Found them to be very good, got decent mileage out of them; nice tread pattern as well. Bought mine through Black Circles who at the time gave triple Tesco points for them, worked out about £25 for buying four |

Have a look a Bridgestone A005 Weather Control . In the U.K. where we get lots of rain , and a smattering of snow they are a stunning tyre . Just about 20,000 miles on a set on my Subaru , and I reckon I’ve got another 4000/5000 of good service in them . They are probably a few bob more than Cross Climates. I’ve used them in everyRoad condition possible and they have been flawless , also used off tarmac , although I’d draw the line at using them in mud 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

I put a new set of Cross Climates on June 18 and have covered around 23000 on 235 60 R18 103v. They were swapped at 10000 mile mark and have done well so far. Unfortunately haven’t had any snow use and very little off road but on icey/frosty roads they performed well. I will probably have another 5000 miles or so left before changing. There’s also 2 summers worth across France Germany Italy and Switzerland towing a caravan plus a few other weekends towing so don’t feel too hard done by.
