FL2 Workshop Manual

Has anyone heard whether a workshop manual is going to be relaesed for the FL2? Haynes haven't released one yet and it's been out for while now. Would be very handy! Question Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

Landrover is not mentioned in the "Haynes Automotive Repair Manuals 2009".

I contacted Haynes in July of last year and this was the reply I received:-


Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding a Service and Repair Manual for your vehicle. Unfortunately, we do not produce a Manual for this particular model and have no plans to do so within the next 12 to 18 months.
However, all customer requests are recorded and used in the decision making process of future Manual publications/updates.

You could try contacting your local dealer to see if he can be of assistance.

So now we all send e-mails to Haynes enquiring when they are going to produce a manual and show that there is a demand for one.

First press the "rest of world" button, then on the next page select your language, then on the 3rd page you will see the sign up prompt.

For some reason it wasn't appearing in my browser, was showing an error at bottom. This has been fixed when I did an update to my system this weekend.

i have not checked as i dont want one but is there anyone on ebay selling discs of FL2 OR LR2 sevice and repair manuals ,in the past i have brought some for other makes ands they have proved very usefull Wax on Wax off

For one year and one model (FL2 MY09) it was $282 USD.

In my intial roaming around I found the Technical Service Bulletin for "Limited Seat Rock". It was initialy only on the Discovery 3/LR3 and Range Rover Sport (LS), but Freelander 2 was added on the latest version of the TSB. It was published on December 18, 2008.

Parts needed: 13

FL2 Repair Time: 0.7 hours
