Diff oil

Hi. Just checking.

I had a haldex service in March this year. I'm considering changing the diff oil as I'm assuming this has not been done on service (12 Year) again in March.

I want to make sure that changing the diff oil wont affect the haldex in any way.

Also is there any merit in using additives for protection. (in the old days slick 50)

My only experience with Slick 50 was in 1987 when I bought a brand New Bedford Rascal van. From new, I added some Slick 50 to the gearbox. Within 2 months it needed a complete set of gearbox bearings. I’ve never used the stuff since. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.
