do you know if it is possible to get a nudge bar for freelander in Australia? I want to use it to mount driving lights, and also to protect the car at least a little bit. Thanks

Just thought to give an update:
There was no-one making these bars for Freelander 2. I contacted about 20 companies, I also went to ask if they can make bespoke nudge bar but with no luck.
In the end, I found a manufacturer in Europe and bought it from them. This is my result:

If you are reffering to the nudge bar that I have on my car, then yes - my car is 2008 model.

To AZ, hard to tell from the photos but it looks like the chassis mounting points have been cut off. Not sure if it would fit a Freelander without a bit of work to modify it. If you were able to get the dimensions for that one and then compare it with a Freelander one (someone on here might be able to help with that) that would give you an idea whether it is likely to fit. Good luck!

As it's been almost impossible to buy a nudge bar for a Freelander 2- which I can't understand given some of the strange cars that they're available for, I ended up having a Stedi LED light bar fitted to the Stedi rego plate mount. I'm really pleased with the result and there's hardly any shake. The light itself is a 14" bar and is excellent. Good value too

I think this is a car from Australia. But I can remember a brand called armadillo which was manufactured by an off road vehicle company in Sri Lanka for off road trucks. I will be able to still find out these guys if they are in business.
