You say the engine mount on the drivers side needs replacing but the number you quote is for the LH mount which is on the passenger side. RH (driver side ) mount is completely different. Jules |

However there are two support insulators; an upper and a lower one.

INSULATOR ENGINE UPPER SUPPORT. PART - LR000597 is on the RH side - visible when you open the bonnet The JLR workshop manual is free to download -but doesnt give part numbers - just names - so you then have to search and compare pictures etc Jules |

According to the JLR manual that is the RH engine mount (2 in your diagram). It is below a bracket which is accessed when the upper engine support insulator (1) is removed. (4) is the lower engine support insulator. (5) is LH engine mount GOK what (3) is ![]() Last edited by jules on 19th Nov 2019 8:44 pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Its very confusing when manufacturer and suppliers dont stick to the same terminology. Jules |

From your diagram it is clear to me that 2 and 5 are engine mountings, supporting the engine mass whist 1 and 4 are supports preventing lateral movement. Jules |
