We changed to a 9kg LG with “direct drive” drum motor about 8 years ago, never had a moments problem with it......and yes it “jingles” at the end of a cycle also Regards

The Samsung plays 25 seconds of Schubert’s Trout Quintet. Presumably some reference to fish and water from a Korean engineer with a sense of humour ? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

The LG just plays about 5 seconds of "nursery sound" tune.......looks like I picked well
