Roof nuts ?


Hi any body know where I can purchase another one of these each as bought of eBay and missing bolt and nut think one from front and rear ? Roof rails genuine'

Ukraine 2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

In the meantime get an M10 50mm galvanized (not zink plated or stainless steel) bolt & plumbing teflon tape. Some info 3/4 down the page of this thread:

The middle bolt has also broken, info a 1/3 down this page:

I've also had a problem at the front so packed between the bracket & extrusion with some 1mm teflon sheet, tight fit with a hammer & block of wood. You can just see a hint of the edge of the teflon at the end of the extrusion. It helped stop squeaking.

Galvanised is zinc plated, do you mean cadmium plated? my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I broke one of these - got a replacement from my local Land rover dealer ship.
I think they are called castle nuts. Were about £1 each.

Hi it's not the cross bars it's where the rails fit to the roof !
