Passenger mirror started doing this, very easy fix thanks to this thread. Easy to manually push mirror housing as described, quick squirt with WD40 Silicone Lubricant, kept for maintaining window runners etc. Move it through the range again a couple of times, sorted. |

I simply spray on some Selleys Ezy Glide, probably about every 6 or so months. http://www.selleys.com.au/home-cleaning/lubricants/ezy-glide It is quite handy for other stuff. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Interesting bulletin that, it only applies to mirrors that have the two piece back cover. My FL2 falls within the VIN range listed but it has the single piece rear cover, which cannot be removed! (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.
