Interestingly if you use the oil finder for your vehicle reg on the Castrol website - it lists 5 oils for the rear diff (two are incorrect viscosity) and nothing for the front diff. In fact BOT118/95 doesnt exist according to that website.

Thanks guys. I checked out Island 4x4 and when you add £15 for shipping (to NI) and £7.50 VAT it’s twice the price listed!

Thanks again. I’m just browsing looking at oils at the moment and if I use the tech spec of the Millers 75/90 GL5 that produces a lot more options. It’s hard to believe that the PTU needs such an exclusive oil as surely the same, or similar, unit is found in other cars with the Aisin box such as Volvo?

Using the spec of the Millers Oils example referenced above as a guide I opted for Mobilube 1 SHC 75W/90 for the PTU (and Aisin Premium ATF 6 for the gearbox). |

I purchased this oil below, so I am in hope it is correct I have had it now for at leasy 6 months and still not got round to doing the job

Artic - it fits the specs so should be fine I'd have thought.
