I’ve asked this at the end of another thread but without response so in the hope that the subject might be picked up in a new thread - is there any way of changing the odometer and trip distance readings in the cluster panel in the speedometer of my 2008 FL2 from kilometres to miles? The reason they are now in kilometres is that I did the modification to add the clock to the instrument cluster, etc., - see this thread https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic19314.ht...nt+cluster - and this switched everything to kilometres and litres. I was able to change the fuel consumption units to miles and gallons but the odometer and trip remain resolutely stuck on kilometres. |

Not sure but there’s a bell ringing about ignition on and hold down the trip reset button. |

Thanks, but I’ve tried that. It apparently works for Discos but not for FL2s |

The solution would seem to be to identify which group of files in the Instrument Cluster are the ones for a diesel/miles vehicle and flash them rather than the diesel/kilometres group I used. More research needed! See this thread for all the gory details of how to do the modification - for a kilometres spec vehicle!

Success! The correct group is the ED group - see the other thread I’ve linked to for full details. |
