After 18 months of driving a F2 Td4 manual & being in love with it SWMBO now needs to swap it for an automatic.

So, we're looking for a well loved XS spec or better vehicle, budget is limited to around £10k, must have full service history with supporting paperwork (not just a stamped book) & evidence of cam belt, diff, haldex, etc. as applicable.

Not in a mad rush for this so happy to wait if anyone is looking to change & get a better deal by not part exchanging, etc.

Based in central Hampshire but willing to travel a reasonable distance for the right car.

Assuming you ended up paying a bit more than £10k for that spec then? Otherwise you seem to have just nabbed an absolute bargain!

I did have to pay a bit more than the £10k I was looking to spend but have got a much newer & higher spec car than I was originally contemplating, have ended up spending around twice what I had first thought, however, I looked at so much tat that the decision to up the budget & get a LR Approved car wasn't a difficult one to make. Main thing is SWMBO is happy with her new car.

You do pay top dollar for an approved LR car but mine was immaculate and virtually indistinguishable from new at 3 1/2 years old. Really pleased with it.  Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Agree with that, ours had just had its first MOT when we bought it. We visited some friends in Sussex soon after getting it, it had our Private plate on it and they were convinced it was new. 2007 TD4 XS The work horse that earns its up keep
