Bit of a joke really isn't it? Travelling at 1 mph over rough terrain for a few yards tells you nothing really Having spent three weeks in Kenya with an old Pajero with huge chunky tyres I have been over 500:miles of difficult terrain and never once had to put it in low range or even 4wd. Still I suppose the Defender will appeal to the Chelsea Tractor lifestyle market which is where the money is. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

The Defender can only supply a hand water pump. I have powered water on the Freelander & it has grunt to blast dirt off. Great for cleaning out the boot hinges.

I love them. Very useful for SWMBO who would otherwise have difficulty getting in and out. They are also very useful for getiing in when some dimbo has parked too close and the door can't be opened enough. A bonus is that they help to keep mud and crud from splashing up on to the body work.
