Mines a 57 reg and never had an advisory I’m quite proud of that it’s always a relief when it passes.

I’ve never had any car that I’ve ever owned fail an mot test and I’m going back to the late 70’s.

Mine passed today. Another 13 months before I need to do it again Very Happy

I went to a busy little local garage near me as, after last year’s fiasco with unnecessary and expensive work allegedly required at a main dealer, I won’t ever let a main dealer MoT test my car again.

Advisory - not recorded...
Pin hole in N/s track rod end boot. I booked it in to have it replaced immediately so it hasn’t been recorded. About £25 to supply and fit. The the chap says they are a generic part. I looked on line for genuine LR with no success so I’ll let him fit his own part.

Advisory - Recorded

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
engine cover and sill covers fitted

That is all it says and it is not something I have seen before. No doubt I means something but I’ll ask when I drop the car off for the track rod end boot.

Mine was done last week. Car is 9 years old. Has failed once due to excessive play in anti roll bar links (or something like that) and this year got a shed load of advisories for corrosion Big Cry FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…
