Doesn't matter wire up which ever side you want for side lights, the wires and pins will take that small load. The 13pin uses RH and LH as most modern cars have fuses for each side. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Unless your seven pin plug is incorrectly wired, it should have separate wires for left and right side lights.

I believe small trailers only use one of the side lamp circuits, the same for the brake lights, costs are cut to the bone using cable having fewer cores than the normal 7 core cable the caravan industry use my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
