I have this "dink noise" too. Removed the Haldex fuse and noise gone. Seems to be the initial take up when moving off. As I have no physical history on a Haldex service its booked in with Bell Engineering in November. I'll report back when done to see if this cures mine or if they can diagnose it if it doesn't. |

I’ve looked into this before and it is the tiny amount of play in the prop uj bearings . By disabling haldex you remove the load on the prop hence no ding when haldex disabled . |

Had this issue, a light dink when changing from forward to reverse directions and back, it was the driveshafts and is a known issue to LR.

Well I took a trip out to see Austen at Bell Engineering ( http://www.bellengineering.co.uk/ ) yesterday and he carried out a service on the haldex and changed the rear diff oil too.
