Valet mode

One last question before I go, when I first got my car I put a pin code in for valet mode. How do I remove the code or would a new code overwrite the old one? Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

Once you renter your code it unlocks the tailgate permanently IIRC. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

If you have turned off valet mode previously (and it is currently off) then you can pick any code you want to reactivate it. You only have to input the same code to deactivate it on a one time basis. It will accept a new code each new time it is activated. Thumbs Up

Back in the 1980s Chevrolet Corvettes had a 'valet' mode to allow you to significantly reduce the engine power when leaving the car to be valet parked so that the youth you handed the keys over to couldn’t trash the car while he parked it for you. Hardly required with a Freely!

Shame it doesn’t lock the rear seats in place and make the luggage cover lock as well....... Wink Regards

It should also disable some of the touchscreen functions so that stored addresses and phone numbers can`t be accessed. Thumbs Up

It does.
it’s a bit bizarre that it locks the tailgate. When we first got the we went away for a weekend to a very posh hotel, so I thought I would put the car into valet mode. Reception called me asking for the code because they couldn’t get the cases out off the boot. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!
