First gear judder

Hi all,

Quite new here and not very mechanically minded (eg not at all) so go easy..

I have a lovely FL2 MY2011 (facelift) SD4 Auto, just under 100k on the clock. In first gear, at times there is a judder coming to a stop or at low speeds. Also the revs drop as if it's about to stall.

I've read several pages of the long thread about stutter and judder, but as I've only had the car for 6 months I'm not sure what the previous owner may have had done. It has full LR main dealer history so should I assume any software patches were automatically updated as part of that?

Also I noticed after parking on the mother in laws driveway, with a quarter tank of fuel, and it being only a modest incline, the engine was very hesitant and stuttering when I then pulled away (was parked bonnet facing uphill). Is this simply from being too low on fuel on an incline?

Any pointers on steps I ought to take to get the low speed judder fixed? No record of services beyond the stamps unfortunately, so can't see exactly what's been done by LR.

Thanks in advance

….and that reminds me....Bloke took his dog to the vet "could you chop his tail off please". The vet inspected and said "there's nothing wrong with his tail". Yes but I've got the mother in law coming for the weekend and I don't want her to get any impression she's welcome!
