Yes it’s very common there and under the silly rubber arch strips,I cleaned mine down used rust killer and painted,pain having to leave the door ajar while the paint dries. |

Unfortunately, you'll probably find even more at the front when you remove the plastic sill protector as it collects and holds mud against the sill...... (Although I think that would be less if you have front mudguards).

Thanks for the replies guys. I couldnt even find anything in the Haynes manual so wasn't sure it was a removeable part. Neil
