What to put in the screen hole when a screen isn't fitted...

Got an XS coming soon but there is no navigation screen fitted so will have that area open. Is it cd size? Alternatively, could stick a Tom Tom or other portable sat nav in there. Anyone use it for anything unusual...?

Others have done this with Sony Sat-Nav, but im not sure on the quality of the Sony's units given reviews on the net. Looks good though.

I, like a few others, have put the Sony in the blank space and I find that it works well. Very easy to operate and it is a very good fit. I suppose the only flaw is that it runs a second or two behind true position on the road, but not much. I have found that the bluetooth is quite poor though.

I think it is the cheapest after market unit you will find that actually sits snugly and theres a lot of info on this site relating to it. Thumbs Up FL2 TD4 XS Santorini

Anyone able to give me the dimensions of the hole - would prefer to see if I can match a Tom Tom unit up since I already use that on my phone and it would be easier to share points of interest etc.

sat nav is the big thing now for tractors, it can be used to steer the tractor to ensure accurate driving

Apart from the door pockets and the centre consol, and the shelf in front of the sat nav is very handy for lining up polo's.
