I have searched the forum and the net for the OEM manufactured of the MAF for this model. I am not sure if my MAF was stock as I have only had the LR2 for about 9-10 months now. The one I have currently is a Denso made in Spain ( really hard to read the model number of the part). The price to replace this MAF is quite a range, Land Rover wants about $300 for it. I would also guess that the Volvo part will also sub.
Any idea who makes the LR branded part or is it the Denso made in Spain?

I've owned my LR2 since new and I never replaced the MAF

Note: I have cleaned it more then once

One thing to keep in mind is that most owners here are Diesel powered.

Thank you Paul! That's my unit as well, so the Denso made in Spain was original/stock. When I got the LR2, 9 months ago it came with a K & N filter. I live rural and I do travel dirt roads daily. What I noticed with the LR2 is my air filter gets really dirty fast. Overall, I have put above 22,000 kms on the LR2 since I owned it and the filter is pretty dirty already.

My previous vehicle, midsize SUV, ran in the same terrain but the filter never got as dirty as quickly. The box maybe letting some air in as the screws on one side seat but don't really bite.

I am also going to pull the wheel well liner and inspect the air intake to make sure everything is together correctly in there.
