Well observed Stevie, Thumbs Up
yes people will do the unexpected immediately after an accident, air bags will cause a mild concussion enough
to be disorientated for a few seconds also adrenaline will kick it.

Doc, instead of working for a jeweller, you secretly want to be a jailer.

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Fuji White

To see red light jumping at its best, you want to drive in Bristol.

As I come from a small town outside, and still obey the rules, I seem always to be left at the head of the queue, as everyone else just carries on as the lights change red.
And yes I have had people pull out around me as I slow on amber to stop.

I can't complain though as it gives me a nice clear getaway when the lights go green.

PS As I have cameras, I am always aware that I am collecting evidence of my own driving (good or bad) should I make a mistake. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

Glasgow and Cyprus are the same at least two cars go through on the red, however no one seems to notice when they go green for about 5-10 secs so it evens out, that's Glasgow. Cyprus everyone starts creeping across 30 secs after the red Laughing my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I've been caught out a few times as a pedestrian crossing the road !

England 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Santorini Black

I read on another forum from someone who lived in Bristol where he said the "rule" was that three cars could jump the red but when he moved to Sheffield he said that the "rule" there was different as only two cars were allowed to jump the red. He complained that he was getting tooted unfairly when as the third car he jumped the red. I did think about asking him what he thought the amber light meant but I don't suppose he would have a clue.

It's amazing how many people will admit to breaking the law on forums.

I captured this driver this afternoon unsure how to negotiate a mini roundabout. At the time of the incident I thought she was going too fast, but still i think she had no idea what she was doing!

Old video found after getting the camera working again - couldn't see a damn thing with headlights through the torrential rain, but the light show really lit things up nicely!

He hadn't the power to overtake safely, and combined with atrocious driving skills could have caused a bad accident.

Pity the police hadn't spotted this.

Dash cam clip to appear on a TV show

I posted some dash cam footage on here from last year featuring a guy changing a wheel on his caravan on a smart motorway. I’ve posted it elsewhere, got an email from a TV producer asking if they could use it for a tv show about driving, apparently they are doing a feature about the dangers of smart motorways. No doubt the tv People will edit the guts out of it but will be nice to see the clip on tv. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Spotted a lorry driver texting at the wheel through a built up area today. Too much reflection off the windscreen to see properly but you can just about make it out.

Absolutely no excuse for it and the potential for a catastrophe when a lorry driver does it, is all too real. Never going to be of evidential quality for a prosecution but I called the manager of the firm who was not happy to say the least and was going to rip him a new one when he got back. Hopefully it'll stop him from doing it again.
