PTC

Just had the PTC recall done.
I needed the rear brake light looked at (which was done) and asked if the seat belts and B pillars could be replaced. This was 3 weeks ago.
Got a call at 4.30pm today to tell me the PTC and Brake light was done but they would have to order the seat belts and pillars?!
This was coupled with the fact I got a courtesy 'car' ordered, and had to wait 3 weeks until one was available.
It was a diesel Ford Focus.

I mean it was new and clean but I took in my £29,000 LR to have safety related recall work done and I WANTED A DISCOVERY TO PLAY ABOUT IN!
It's funny the dealer sent me through an email telling me how much I could get off a new Disco. You would have though this was the ideal time to put me in one for the day to tempt me.

Instead my next car will be a death grey rattly and bangin Ford diesel that takes 32 minutes to get enough revs up to actually start moving...... Evil or Very Mad

No.
You'd be more likely to give me a little curtsey

Given the lack of buyers at the moment I'm very surprised they could not put you in a LR courtesy car, pretty bad show really. Sad

Last time my car was serviced I got a courtesy car (LR at that) on only 3 days notice, I was gobsmacked. Thumbs Up Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... Big Cry ... psst look at my gallery!

I have just read this and it has jogged my memory about the seat belts/B pillar mod. I have just booked the FL2 in for it's second service and forgot to tell them about it. My question is does the mod make any difference?
I have just driven a 3-month-old FL2 and I could still hear the seat belt rubbing on the B pillar when I put it on.
There is no wear on the B pillars or belts yet but the my car has only done 7100 miles.

waaxh03 Very Happy
