Still looks good

We met our Son today for lunch and parked our car just across the road. I washed and wet waxed it at the weekend, including dressing the wheels and tyres. Walking back to the car after lunch it really stood out among all the other Euro boxes.

It looked so different to all the other boring offerings. Such a shame that JLR have decided to go down the soft roader, boring euro box route.

I can honestly say, I have no desire to change our SD4 HSE for anything else available at the moment. The FL2, is just perfect for our needs. A perfect mix of luxury and comfort. crossed with a very capable 4X4 and tow car that is also economical to run.

And looks like a Land Rover should IMHO Thumbs Up

Just saying like Wink 2007 TD4 XS The work horse that earns its up keep
2013 SD4 HSE The posh one for towing the caravan
1973 Triumph Stag I bought in 2009 and restored.

Agree with all, except I think 'economical ' is stretching things a little.... Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Agree with the euro boxes statement and the very economical running and maintenance costs. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I agree that I like the look of the FL2.

But there again, perhaps it's because I have fallen in love;
with the driving position, comfy seats, ease of travel, and feeling that it could tackle any road condition we came across. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

They are nice looking vehicles; the styling is miles better than the FL1.

I do like the Disco Sport but the full size Discovery is horrendous, awful. Trying to compete with 'Toad of Toad Hall' Audi Q7s and the like. The rear end looks like a lopsided punched face, which I suppose is appropriate if your intended market is gangsters and drug dealers.

I have been on a trip to Braemar in the Cairngorms and my Firenza Red FL2 has attracted several comments and has stood out against Lamberginni and Porchies, so chuffed
