Ebay item eBay Item No. 143353975273 sold by an organisation called Turbo Craft

I sent them a message asking if its genuine Garett and explicitly NOT remanufactured/refurbished.

They replied saying yes it is genuine and brand new and they are so cheap because they are sold on an exchange basis.

Comments?

New genuine Garett turbos for the FL2 retail around £850+

Seems very cheap for a brand new one... a brand new Garrett one cheapest I could supply for example would be £620+vat very little margin in that! and I wouldn't require the old unit back, so why do they? to refurb and then sell as new? if you look at ebay there are plenty of refurb units at the same price as the new one - doesn't add up. Sophie Alltoft

The issue being..... its failing already after 10k miles 🙂
