Bob, I have always looked forward to your posts on the forum. That mix of enthusiasm, knowledge, wisdom, humour and sometimes pretty "direct" telling things how you see them. I reckon that over the past few years you must have been one of the most prolific posters here. This is a great forum (as long as we don't talk about Brexit!!) so don't stop posting.........we want to keep hearing from you.

About a month ago I went to see Wilko Johnson (One of my hero's from my younger days) In 2012 he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He declined to have treatment and set of on a "farewell" tour and then recorded a farewell album with roger Daltry. Anyway it turned out he had a slightly different strain of disease to his original diagnosis and following some fairly major surgery he has been back on the road again for the past few years.

I am in no way attempting to draw any comparisons between his and your situations, but just makes you think that none of us knows what awaits us round the next corner

BTW the concert was great. A lot of straggly grey hair in the mostly male audience
