so having done my usual and bought a Freelander then been tempted elsewhere im moving up into a Disco 4 this Friday. Needed the extra space after recent trips away highlighted the need for trailer and roof box to just about cope with all the gear.

should do, there appears to be enough clearance for the roof to operate but i cant guarantee it without them actually being fitted.

this is the link to them which doesnt mention pano roof or not.

according to that they should be no problem on yours

yes, they are T bar, with complete rubber strips, lockable covers and 2 keys.

they just have a few squashed flies over them that need to be cleaned off Laughing

yeh i have a bit of short attention span Laughing

3 door Evoque was great and i did love it, but couldnt have done what ive done this year where even the Freelander wasnt big enough.
Couple that with my brand new mountain bike being hit and run on the rack on the back of the FL2 resulting in £120 damage to the bike and some minor damage to the bumper,
The D4 will swallow the bike whole, and still have plenty of room.

I plan to fit an awning and other bits, and maybe a secondary battery for trips away with the option to sleep in the back (im too tall for a FL2 boot ) , so i can just finish work and disappear for the weekend, maybe even up to your neck of the woods Ed Thumbs Up

Yep I'll still be gobbling off on here. Laughing

I pick up the D4 this friday. SDV6 XS with the 8 speed box.

They drive superb. Really smooth ride on the air suspension, and obviously bags of room. The 3.0 V6 pulls like a train with minimal effort.

They have their common problems just like FL2 but its LR so you kinda expect that. Rolling with laughter

Crank comes to mind Laughing

You won’t be disappointed Rog only thing that made me take the FL2 over a new D4 was that I wanted a manual LR!

bump

all now removed from car and ready to sell

postage at extra cost (except for the trailer Laughing )

all prices are sensibly negotiable as they will just take up space in the garage
