Interesting that the LR wheels also do not bear the Japanese JWL markings as well......hmmmm...... Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......

Dave,

As you pointed out these Volvo wheels should be fine they are from the Volvo parts bin and they are intended for a SUV of similar weight to my LR2

Having said that I do appreciate the education that you and Ronp have provided.

Although I am a bit disappointed that my wheels are not rated for max load.

Happy Motoring

Paul

The only downside to switching to Volvo Alloys is the different size center caps

I did find a solution to the "Volvo" problem

And here is the finished result

Thanks

Paul

PS Thanks to the Land Rover enthusiast in Poland that sent me the updated Land Rover decals (Ebay is a wonderful thing)

This is on the ToDo list

However my Daughter drives the LR2 and I asked her and she was against it so I may need to be clandestine.

Thanks

Paul

I gone back and forth with this mod and I can't decide.

Maybe someday.

I'll post here if I decide to do it.

Thanks

Paul

I personally prefer the C column the same colour as the overall body colour.

Dark rims are a good idea as they get "black" anyway from brake dust. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Artic,

The Volvo Wheel are very easy to clean, thank for the Thumbs Up and I do really like the look

Having said that I can't argue with adding a bit more COPPER to the LR2. On my phone it wasn't clear what wheel you have but upon closed inspection you have the same wheels that I started with from stock but with a nice upgrade. Well done.

When I bought my LR2 I was specifically looking for the Tambora Flame and I am glad that I got it.

Take care

Paul
