Check that the driveshaftjoint has not popped out of the diff. I know of one occasion where it happened and torned the splines of at the end. Hard to see at the left hand side as the driveshaftjoint sits in a "cup" in the diff housing. |

This might not be your problem but a few FL2s ago I had a rear diff bearing job done under warranty and afterwards I noticed oil under the diff. I took it back and they said that too much oil had been put in. The story went that the oil came in litre bottles and the tech had just overfilled it and that only 700ml is required. They took some out and all OK after that.

Have you checked the air pipe. If they get blocked the oil level rises and pressure builds up within the unit causing a blow out through the seals. Just an idea. |
