Latest bodywork modifications

Attached are 2 photos of my modified vehicle courtesy of the boss, though to give her credit the bumper was not her fault, some hit and run idiot.
Now with the bumper is it a new bumper or could I get away with a bit of work and LOTS of fibreglass/filler?
Am assuming the door needs replacing.

It’s just possible with the application of some heat (very hot water best) and the bumper off the car the pushed in dent will mostly pop out, looks like it’ll have a stress crease at the top but a little filler will do that job, as for the door......at least a new skin (if available). Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......

Bumper will push out easy using a heat gun on the back of it

You don't need to take the bumper off to pop out that damage, the cavity behind is big enough (once you've removed the rear light) to be able to get a gloved hand down and push from the back while using a heat gun, or maybe a hair dryer on it's hottest setting.
Ask me how I know Very Happy
The damage to my bumper was exactly the same as yours but luckily my rear light was not damaged. Off came the rear light, a couple of minutes with a heat gun and gentle persuasion with my hand from the rear and "pop". Virtually invisible too. Just avoid damaging the paintwork by getting too close and too hot with the gun/hairdryer.

Will give that a try. Never thought one could pop a plastic panel back out. I am surprised it has not cracked somewhere.

You guys are good. Applied heat, from a heat gun, gently persuaded it back into its original position. Apart from scratches looks fine. Bit of sanding and paint will be nearly as good as new.
Now the door. Am wondering if I can get away with a slide hammer, not looking for perfection.
