It`s on the L/ H side (drivers) if you are looking at it standing at the front facing the engine. |

There are 2 bolts holding the bottom of the cover in place, and held in at the top by the air intake pipe and PS pipe, usually missing |

I've just noticed my car doesn't have a timing belt cover. I was wondering where the oil was coming from , looks like it's spatter from the belt.

The top bolt was missing from mine after 10 year service. Bit fiddly to replace Silver 2009 HSE |

Yeah mine was the same. I found the top bolt in the bonnet catch after EGR replacement (but didnt know at the time where it had come from). On inspection they had stuck the top bolt in the lower bolt hole and left the top bolt off. Swapped the bolt over and replaced the other bolt and all well. |
