I have a Freelander 2 TD4 2010 manual gearbox.

This morning i set off, all fine up through the gears 1-3 but then I couldn't get it out of 3rd gear!

Tried stalling it, pumping the clutch several times, got it moving and tried to knock it out of gear on the move. Nothing worked it's still stuck in 3rd gear

Anybody ever had anything like this before?
Any ideas on what it might be?

Personally have not heard of this issue before, so can't really offer any help, other than to suggest you look at the selector system & look for any conflicts or seized cables etc.

As above, it’s an odd one.

Are you sure the clutch is actually operating? Possibly no clutch action is making getting out of gear/changing gear impossible for you, although I would have thought trying to turn the engine over on the starter while moving the gear lever might work in that case. Regards
