My car sailed through its mot this morning. Driving along this afternoon and the intercooler hose came loose! Five minute job to re-attach and tighten up the clip. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Glad to hear it. Took mine for its first MOT during my ownership last month. The only faults that came up were of my own doing, such as a headlight bulb the wrong way up and a sticking horn which I should've fixed ages ago.

Same here - our trusty old 2011 HSE just passed its MOT last week without any problems. I had the car for 6 years now and are pleasantly surprised by its solid reliability. Glad I did not go for an extended warranty.

I'm an MOT tester and I don't use that but many testers do as a CYA statement but it's unnecessary as you simply aren't allowed to unbolt/remove anything on a test so if something should go wrong behind those panels (brake pipes/steering joints etc.) you will not be held at fault as you can only test what you can see. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto Present: Audi A3 S Line. |
