HI I've been having an issue with my 07 Freelander 2 not starting. after doing some research it seems to me it needs a software update. the trip computer resets itself and the problems fixed by disconnecting the battery. The issue is covered on technical service bulletin LTB00093V2. we are eager to upgrade to a Freelander 2 2014 model and we can't do this until the car is ready for sale.

I had mine done and they only charged 30 min / £80 to do the up date, I got it free during the service.

its Beadles Land Rover Southend the second closest branch is Beadles sidcup so I assumed the pricing structure would be the same. I'm glad it's not just me that thinks it's excessive they seem very reluctant to give me any sort of price breakdown for a diagnostic and update over the phone or on email. I service this car myself. The later model that i am getting would be serviced by them (maybe). --------------------------------------------

Doesn't hurt to ring other dealers even if they are a little further away, if their price is right for you then go back to Beadles to see if they price match.... if not they lose your business.
