United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Barolo Black
MAF / MAP

Hi Guys Can any one help, I have a intermittent misfire on my 2011MY that is starting to get on my nerves. I would like to know the expected MAP & MAF reading at say idle & 2000 RPM. I have searched the forum and have not found anything.
Hope someone can help.

Thanks Steve

At 2000 RPM stationary or during acceleration on road ?
With or without EGR blanked?
MAF in g/s or Hz?

Mine, at idle, MAF is about 13g/s (but I have the EGR blanked) and MAP is about 101KPa as the turbo is not contributing at that RPM.

Thanks Alex Not looking at any on road / under load figures to start with just the stationary no load. EGR was blanked but not now as this caused the engine to have a total headfit.

I believe, IIRC, without EGR blanked, the MAF dropped to about 8g/s after a few seconds, at idle, when the EGR opens.

Thanks thats about what Ive got now .seems my research before buying this MY was not very good. I was looking for the newest land Rover that didn,t look like a jellymould and without EGR or electric handbrake .

regards Steve
