If someone could come up with one off these trafficator/semaphore/loofah signals, but with the pathetic light bulb removed and something like this installed, we could have the world’s first “steampunk” indicator

The problem down under is that most cars don't seem to have an indicator of any description! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Haha...reminds me of when we raced in Special Saloons back in the early 70’s......we used a Riley Elf shell with all the panels cut out and replaced with ally sheet panels (not pretty but a lick of paint sorted that) but the best bit was being the Elf shell with the boot when we installed the rear beam axle (as was the mini racing “thing” at the time) we installed it just over an inch further back, scrutineers never noticed but it made a big difference in the corners .......but about that dashboard mod, we raced against all sorts and one was a famous driver who drove a certain Eastern Block vehicle back then, I noticed he had changed the windscreen washer plunger on the dash to a knurled plastic knob......they had installed a brake balance valve in its place, highly illegal back then and the screws never saw that either, but hey.....all’s fair in love and motor racing Regards David Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me...... Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again...... |
