I couldn't get the glass out the way when trying to fit drivers side lock mechanism . . . . so gave up, lock mysteriously works most of the time in this warmer weather, i got a spare off ebay (which I still may need) for £26.03 in March, but I see they have gone up in price form the place I used, outside UK though

Yeah I see the replies were a bit short . I too saw the YouTube vid of the guy swearing while trying to do it. It isn’t amazingly clear how he gets the glass out of the clips. You’ve worried me now! |

The glass is held in place by a big yellow spring clip which you need to release to pull the glass up - I used a piece of wooden lat (like a ruler( about 4 or 5 mm thick to slide down between the glass and the clip to release the pressure enough to slide the glass upwards - it doesn't take much to do it. Bit fiddly but once you have done it it is a doddle - the glass just slots back in and psuh down to secure it when re-assembling. No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

Cheers Westville I was wondering about that. And is there a white one the other side? Also did you remove the glass or just tape it up in place? Cheers! |

You only need to release the grip of the yellow one (it has a curled lip at the top so the lever you use can slip down between the clip and the glass)- I just taped it up out of the way - as I said when you have done it you will wonder what all the fuss was about No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

Been trying to get my window free. Won’t release from yellow clip. All the videos miss this bit. All I achieved was very sore hands. There is no room to get at the yellow clip. Failed miserably. |
