Thanks, me too......I am suspicious it was too easy just eliminating errors to fix the issue.

But on the plus side I have never got to know a new car so quickly as this one Rolling with laughter Regards

Congratulations. When you take it for a spin, leave your code reader plugged in so you can see if any codes re-appear. Regarding crawling about doing oil changes, you can get a oil vacuum extractor for not too much money and then just suck the oil out through the dip stick tube. The oil filter is on the top of the engine to so no need to get your knees dirty. I've been doing it that way on my i6 for about 7 years with no issues. Much cheaper than using a garage and you control the oil and filters you use.

Mr. Box,

It's been over a month since you had the initial no start problem.

Did it ever happen again after the reset?

And other updates?

Are all of the fault code cleared?

Thanks

Paul

Sorry, I thought I had posted since.

All’s well now after the complete removal of all codes with the proper tool, pretty sure it was the engine control module fault code deletion that finally cured the non start issue, it now starts first time every time on the button, drives very smoothly now with the new tyres fitted (I think the old uneven worn tyre were the root cause, HDC and all that).

Going so well treated the FL2 to a pair of LED Sport type rear lamps, later clear CHMSL and HST exhaust trims Thumbs Up looking as good as it goes now.

I have even filled the fuel tank to the brim, that’s how much faith I have in it now Rolling with laughter Regards

David

Now that looks fantastic ! The black and white lights seem to just suit it better than the coloured lenses I think.
Stornoway Grey was my initial colour of choice, but I just couldn't find one at the time I was looking , or rather, couldn't find the right one.
Oh well, knowing me , if I get bored with black, I'll get it wrapped .........How about Kawasaki green......?? Rolling with laughter

Any computer graphics wizards on here that could do a quick rendering for me ??

Yes, every time I looked at it sitting on the drive the red rear lights really stuck out against the grey body colour, and the original exhaust trims were a bit weedy for a 3.2 litre so I think it all works well now, of course the exhaust trims reduce the departure angle down a lot but then I will not be taking across the Rubicon Trail very often Laughing Regards
