Have you checked if you have map data installed in the hidden menu's?

I think there is a link in the electronics bit of the forum.

The map data will only cover one region, ie Europe, but the nav is also intelligent and uses vehicle speed to continue to move the map or GPS is lost. If GPS is broke or disconnected you can get to a funny condition where the nav drives off the end of the map data!

Can you get someone to plug in and see if there are any DTCs?

I thought the 2013 MY was changed from the disc, look under the drivers seat there should be a disc drive, eject the disc, and put in another one there is a set of 4 that come with the car my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

13my* were the start of Gen2.1 and HDD based infotainment/navigation.

* In the UK, a '13' in the registration plate does not automatically mean the car is a 13my!

Yes mines an MY14 build you can tell this by the sat nav screen graphics alone.

Well an odd thing happened on Saturday morning the sat nav picked up my location correctly upon starting the car as I was setting it up to use for my 200 mile journey. It worked fine but did get lost on the new roads sections (understandable as they and not 100% completed) and remained lost for a further 15 miles then all of a sudden it was fine for the remaining journey.

Can I ask how you got to that screen. Am looking to update the mapping in my 63 plate and website have asked for the numbers to ensure its compatible. Was told to touch the bit between the two 'T' in the word destination on the home screen which should produce that screen but all it does is move to next screen Embarassed
Also, does anyone know for sure where the SD card might be in my car?
Thanks
