MY13 Pollen Filter Change

I’ve found that the way MY13 pollen filter change is as the same as that of evoques’. It is a little harder since I need to remove small white panel in order to change the filter. Otherwise it would be so difficult job due to the tiny space. I hope this would be helpful to whom needs this information.

Opposite side in UK and Freelander of course . Remove glove box door for far more room.

Not sure what school of electric shorting of your loom this Cockney Type went too, suggest you remove watches and any rings. Rolling Eyes FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

Hi all
Just done my service and removed the old one, airflow arrow pointing forward??

I’m sure that’s wrong, new one fitted arrow pointing rear into the car.

May be obvious but I’m surprised it’s not specifically mentioned in the topix procedure. I guess the last service they didn’t realise or thought it could go either way.

I’ll have a search on other topics but my sump cover is fairly corroded, cleaned up and painted but might look for a new one. Brgds

I did mine after its last JLR service - and found they'd broken some of the tabs off the hatch cover - muppets.

Actually its easier on the Freelander (MY13) than on the Evoque in the video. Jules

You are correct; air flow is front to back. Jules

Great video, my best but was the difficulty rating!

Silly question, do all models come with carbon filters or some with pollen? In fact, ill just go get a 10mm socket and yoink out what ever is in there.
