Hi All
Was told in the last service that the top part of the turbo hose is on its way out, so last night I removed it - but for the life of me I could not get the new one on.
tried a smear of washing up liquid, still could not get it to fit on the lower part of the hose, fitted on the turbo but the next part of the hose was not playing ball.

Any tips? Or do I need to remove the whole tube (from turbo to intercooler) and fit off the car and then refit?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I have no knowledge of the diesel, but have you tried also leaving the end to be fitted in a bowl of boiling (careful!) water before fitting, might make it easier to slip over the pipe.

Works for a lot of tight tube scenarios!

Edit : put the boiling water into a bowl before heating up the pipe, I didn’t mean hold the pipe in the boiling water on the cooker etc  Regards

Just be careful with the water, or you may have to wait even longer for the skin to grow back  Regards
